about h1n1.

WQ: hahaha u referring to my header ah? that pic was taken a few weeks ago, but i went to add effects to it hahaha.. quite nice right?:P

• a few weeks back, i took a bus to ps to meet jimmy. on my way there, i noticed that whenever i sneezed, this fat guy who was seated beside me turned his head away from me, put his fat finger to his fat nose and gave the oh-no-i’m-gona-kena-h1n1-and-will-someone-get-her-off-the-bus-RIGHT-NOW kinda expression.  wtf seriously.

• today i, read a piece of news that was related to h1n1. there was a mini FAQ section and there was there were 2 particular questions that caught my attention:
• Q1: I’m in a crowded MRT train and the person standing in front of me is sneezing. What should i do? Answer –  Offer him a clean tissue if he is not using one. Turn your face away when he sneezes. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue. Q2: How far away do i need to be from someone who is sneezing, if i want to be safe if i want to be ‘kiasi’?
• there is already a growing concern among the general public with regards to h1n1, what i think is that the mainstream media is just teaching people to be more and more paranoid and scaring people a bit too unnecessarily. where is the human touch? where is the unity that is so needed esp in the face of crisis? instead of asking people to shun anyone who sneezes, y not teach/remind people to keep themselves healthy by eating well and resting properly to boost their immune system? teach people about social responsibility rather than to discriminate.

• i briefly spoke to vic on the phone just before she flew, again. cant wait for her to be back, miss her.

• mac has finally woken up from its idea and has brought back the garlic chilli! 😀

• my request for additional tickets for my commencement is successful! 😀

• met up with the bf and the gf 😀

• today is really my happy day 😀

• i’m feeling like i’m some high tech person because i successfully installed the printer in my room *grins*

• a guy’s tears are definitely more potent than a girl’s one. trust me on this.

• i believed in letting one have a taste of his/her own medicine. but i realised that by doing so, the bad traits of that person are manifested in me. i simply became a reflection of that person. it’s terrible.

• and i now love to blog in point form because i can be as random as i want without having to worry if i sounded nonsensical, about the connectors and whatever la haha.

lundi.

• went over to cara’s place to swim and to chill. i love girly chats 🙂

• was very annoyed this morning because cara and i got pangseh-ed. making the effort to make time for gfs and a little responsibility would definitely have made things better.

• and today i didnt get any emails that are related to the jobs i’ve applied for 😦 i think it’s better to be a wee-bit more picky in choosing a job than to grab any that comes along. i want to make a career out of a job and not have a job for the sake of having one.

bite sized sunday.

• well she did reply to my msg afterall! 🙂 seems like we may be meeting to trash things out and move on with the friendship. so double yay-ness! rather have a friend than an enemy right?

• jimmy and i had a little arguement over something. he msged me while i was on my way home. the msg he sent was kinda contradictory but overall it wasnt something nice. it was like world war 3 was going to erupt anytime. anyway i replied hostily to that msg. he was puzzled by my response so he called and guess what…the original msg that he sent to me was a sweet one but somehow that msg got chopped up half way and was linked to another msg which he sent me during another quarrel we had.  it’s just terribly freaky and absolutely creepy! :X

• Though i know that you probably will not reply to my msg, i dont think i’ll live to regret the decision i made to msg u.

• today has been a good day. went up to yew tee to celebrate bryce’s 1st birthday. had a good time catching up with my helen mummy and sis sharon. 🙂

• i’m freaking frustrated that i’m so misunderstood all the time! ARGH!

• i pinched jimmy’s cheeks playfully and it caused a bruise! what strong fingers i have HAHAHA:|

• and cos i’m feeling kinda bored, i decided to change the my blog’s header. i think it’s quite nice 🙂
